Corey Taylor of Slipknot Signs Global Deal With BMG Ahead of New Solo Album

Corey Taylor, the lead singer of the Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum selling metal band Slipknot, has signed a global recordings agreement with BMG to release his second solo album. The album, which is called CMF2, is set to arrive later in 2023.

Taylor is no stranger to the music industry. He has been the lead singer of Slipknot since 1999, and the band has released six studio albums, all of which have been certified platinum or multi-platinum by the RIAA. Taylor has also released two solo albums, 2007's "Corey Taylor" and 2019's "CMFT."

In a statement, Taylor said that he was excited to be working with BMG on his second solo album. "I'm really looking forward to this new chapter in my career," he said. "BMG is a great label with a lot of experience, and I know they're going to help me take my music to the next level."

BMG CEO Hartwig Masuch also commented on the deal, saying that Taylor was "one of the most exciting and successful rock artists of our time." "We're thrilled to be working with him on his new solo album," he said. "We know that it's going to be a huge success."

CMF2 is expected to be released later in 2023.
