Fury Back in Training for Usyk Rematch

Tyson Fury is urging Oleksandr Usyk to resume training in preparation for their heavyweight rematch scheduled for December 21st. Fury lost the undisputed title to Usyk in May but activated a rematch clause in their contract. Fury posted a video of himself on social media working with a heavy bag and sent Usyk a message alongside Saudi boxing chief, H.E. Turki Alalshikh. In the message, Fury said, “We are in training for you now Usyk. Get well brother, I will see you in December for the big KO. Big drama show. Get in the Usyk, get in the gym son. We will be ready.”

Usyk is currently filming a Hollywood movie, "The Smashing Machine," with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and has been seen with rapper Snoop Dogg. Fury acknowledges that he needs to deliver a career-best performance to defeat Usyk, who knocked him down in their last fight. A win for Fury could set up a huge undisputed fight with Anthony Joshua, who must first defeat Daniel Dubois for the IBF title.

Despite losing to Usyk, Fury believes he won the fight and said that fighting Usyk was "a lot easier than I thought it’d be." Fury said on his YouTube channel, Furocity, "People said he’s a hard man to hit, I was lighting him up with four-punch combinations and laughing at him. It was like I was in there with a local amateur boxer."
