Joaquin Phoenix Downplays Headlines About His 'Beau Is Afraid' Injuries

It seems that Joaquin Phoenix's recent on-set injuries have been blown out of proportion by the media. The actor, who is known for his intense method acting, was reportedly seen limping and with a bandaged hand while filming his new movie "Beau Is Afraid." However, Phoenix has stated that the injuries are not as serious as they have been made out to be and that he is "fine." In fact, he even joked that the headlines about his injuries all sound "stupid."

Despite his reputation for putting himself through physical and emotional challenges for his roles, Phoenix has stated that he doesn't believe his method acting is dangerous. He takes care of himself and doesn't push himself too far. It's clear that he's committed to his craft, as evidenced by the weight he lost for his role in "The Master."

"Beau Is Afraid" is a dark comedy directed by Ari Aster, who also directed the 2018 horror movie "Hereditary." The film follows a man who returns home to his mother after a long absence. Although it's set to be released in 2023, fans are already eagerly anticipating Phoenix's performance in the movie.
