Justin Timberlake and Sky Ferreira Star in Netflix's "Reptile" Trailer

In the world of music, Sky Ferreira has been navigating a challenging journey with the release of new music, a struggle so pronounced that her fans recently funded a "Free Sky Ferreira" digital billboard in Times Square. However, her acting career tells a different story. Ferreira has previously showcased her acting chops in films like "The Green Inferno," "Baby Driver," and "Lords Of Chaos." Now, she's set to share the screen with none other than Justin Timberlake, a pop artist with a markedly distinct career trajectory, in the upcoming Netflix crime thriller, "Reptile."

"Reptile" marks the directorial debut of Grant Singer, renowned for his creation of dark, captivating music videos for artists including the Weeknd, Lorde, Ariel Pink, and, notably, Sky Ferreira (Singer directed six of Ferreira's music videos, including hits like "Everything Is Embarrassing" and "I Blame Myself"). Singer also co-wrote the screenplay for "Reptile," a film that appears to delve into a grisly murder mystery, with a multitude of potential suspects in a woman's murder.

In this cinematic tale, Benicio Del Toro, who co-authored the script alongside Grant Singer and fellow music-video director Benjamin Brewer, takes on the role of the detective tasked with unraveling the murder. Justin Timberlake assumes a prominent role as the victim's husband, while Sky Ferreira plays a supporting character. The ensemble cast further boasts the talents of Alicia Silverstone, Michael Pitt, and Eric Bogosian.

With such an intriguing lineup, "Reptile" promises to be a must-watch movie, offering a suspenseful and gripping narrative. For a sneak peek, be sure to check out the thrilling trailer below.
