Man Who Allegedly Punched Joe Budden Claims Taxstone Put Out Hit

The man who recently punched media personality Joe Budden is now claiming it was at the direction of incarcerated podcaster Taxstone.

The attacker posted on Instagram that he "beat on" Budden solo, adding "Free Taxstone." This comes after Budden called Taxstone a "worker" rather than a boss on a recent podcast.

While unconfirmed, the posts suggest Taxstone may have ordered the assault in response to Budden's comments. Budden laughed off his "socking" as minor, but the supposed attacker's posts imply there's more to the story.

Taxstone is currently serving 35 years in prison on weapons charges related to a 2016 shooting. Budden has many active beefs, including recent spats with DJ Envy and music executive Cesar Pina.

But he also aims to build bridges, as shown in his recent praise of Megan Thee Stallion and City Girls. As a hip hop commentator, Budden often creates controversy with his opinions.

The alleged self-snitching social media posts connect his latest headlines to the incarcerated Taxstone. But it's unclear if the accused attacker is a credible source on the motivation behind the assault.
