Palestinians Fear Being Thrown Under the Bus as Saudi Arabia and Israel Move Closer to Normalization

The potential for Saudi Arabia and Israel to normalize relations has been the subject of much speculation in recent months. While there has been no official announcement, there have been a number of reports that the two countries are close to reaching an agreement.

If Saudi Arabia and Israel do normalize relations, it would be a major development in the Middle East. It would be the first time that a major Arab country has recognized Israel, and it would have a significant impact on the region's geopolitical landscape.

However, there are concerns that the Palestinians could be the victims of a betrayal if Saudi Arabia and Israel were to normalize relations without taking their interests into account. The Palestinians have long been seeking a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and they would be concerned that normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel would make it more difficult to achieve their goals.

There are also concerns that normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel could lead to an increase in tensions in the region. Iran, which is a major regional rival of Saudi Arabia, has already warned that it would view normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel as a "hostile act."

The situation is complex and there is no easy answer. However, it is clear that the Palestinians could be affected if Saudi Arabia and Israel were to normalize relations. It is important to ensure that the Palestinians' interests are taken into account in any negotiations between the two countries.

What do you think? Should Saudi Arabia and Israel normalize relations? Or should they wait until the Palestinian issue is resolved?
