Rolling Stones Set to Release New Album 'Hackney Diamonds'

The Rolling Stones, one of the most iconic rock bands in history, have released their first album of original music in 18 years. The album, titled "Hackney Diamonds", is named after a slang term for broken glass, and is said to be a reflection of the band's resilience and continued creativity.

The album features 12 tracks, including the lead single "Angry", which has been described as a "hard-rocking" anthem. The album was recorded in London, Los Angeles, and Nassau, and features contributions from Steve Jordan, who replaced the late Charlie Watts on drums.

"Hackney Diamonds" is set to be released on October 20, 2023.

The album's title is a reference to the band's early days in London, when they would often play in clubs in the East End. The title track is about the band's resilience and continued creativity, despite the challenges they have faced over the years.

The album also features songs about love, loss, and the passage of time. The song "Get Close" is about the power of love, while the song "Dreamy Skies" is a reflection on the band's long and storied career.

The album has been met with positive reviews from critics, who have praised the band's continued creativity and energy. Rolling Stone magazine gave the album 4 out of 5 stars, calling it "a reminder of why the Stones are still one of the greatest rock bands in the world."

The Rolling Stones are currently on tour in Europe, and they will be releasing a documentary film about the making of the album later this year.
