R&B singer Cassie filed a lawsuit Thursday accusing her ex-boyfriend, music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, of rape and years of physical abuse.
The federal lawsuit alleges that starting in 2005 when Cassie was 19, Combs subjected her to controlling behavior, forced drug use, brutal beatings, and coerced sex acts with male prostitutes that he filmed.
In 2018 as their relationship ended, the suit claims Combs raped Cassie in her home. She is now speaking out to tell her story and stand up for abuse victims.
Combs firmly denied all the allegations through his representative as "demonstrably false" and plans to fight them in court. The explosive accusations against the famous hip-hop producer come after over a decade of silence from Cassie.
