Steel Panther Electrifies AGT Stage with 'Death to All But Metal' Performance: Must-Watch Moment

Steel Panther doesn't just perform; they rock the stage. Their electrifying appearance on Tuesday night's episode of America's Got Talent left a lasting impression.

Fronted by Ralph "Michael Starr" Saenz, this Hollywood-based throwback heavy metal band might not be everyone's cup of tea, but there they were, making a bold entrance into the live qualifiers alongside a diverse lineup of acts, including dance troupes, magicians, comedians, acrobats, singers, and more.

For their latest performance, the four-piece unleashed "Death to All But Metal" from their 2009 album "Feel the Steel." They did, however, make some adjustments to the song's edgy lyrics.

Formed in 2000, the band has already earned six spots on the Billboard 200 chart. Their appearance on AGT serves as a promotional platform for their most recent full-length album, "On the Prowl," which claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Comedy Albums chart in March of this year.

With their signature big hair, heavy makeup, and loud music, Steel Panther's performance resonated with the AGT audience and the judges alike.

Heidi Klum praised the band, saying, "Look at this room—everyone on their feet, everyone screaming. I love how you rocked the stage," she added, "you sound amazing, especially the high note. Everyone was on it. Well done."

Sofia Vergara expressed her excitement, stating, "I'm super excited for you guys. I think America is going to love you."

Simon Cowell, known for his candid critiques, didn't hold back, declaring, "I didn't just like it, I loved it." He then adopted a more serious tone, remarking, "You take yourselves seriously because you've been doing this for a long time, and it shows, and you don't take yourselves too seriously, which is what I like about you." The British judge continued, "I know we're early on in the season, but this has been my favorite live show act so far."

Steel Panther took the stage as the 10th performer of the night, facing the challenge of only two acts progressing. Despite the tough competition, Howie Mandel, another judge, voiced his support, proclaiming, "In my books, you guys are top 10."
