Thompson Twins Set to Make NBA Debut Together

Amen and Ausar Thompson, identical twins who were both drafted in the top 5 of the 2023 NBA draft, are excited to start their professional basketball careers. However, they are also not eager to be separated. The two have been playing together their entire lives, and they see no reason to change that now.

The Thompson twins grew up in San Leandro, California, and they both attended Overtime Elite, a professional basketball league for teenagers. They were reunited on the City Reapers team last season, and they led the team to an Overtime Elite championship. Amen averaged 17.2 points, 9.2 assists, and 7.2 rebounds in the postseason, while Ausar averaged 21 points, 4.8 assists, and 5.2 rebounds. Ausar was named the regular-season and Finals MVP for the second straight season.

The Thompson twins are both versatile players who can score, rebound, and pass. They are also both excellent defenders. They are projected to be impact players in the NBA, and they are both eager to prove themselves.

However, the Thompson twins are also aware that they are a package deal. They have been playing together their entire lives, and they do not want to be separated now. They have both said that they would prefer to be drafted by the same team.

It is still too early to say where the Thompson twins will end up playing in the NBA. However, one thing is for sure: they are both ready to make their mark on the league. And they are both determined to do it together.
