Woman Who Accused Actor Jonathan Majors of Abuse Now Faces Assault Charges

Grace Jabbari, who had accused actor Jonathan Majors of domestic violence earlier this year, is herself facing assault charges months after Majors' arrest, police confirmed.

In March, Jabbari alleged that Majors assaulted her in a New York hotel. This led to Majors being briefly taken into custody, though he was quickly released.

Now, nearly seven months later, Jabbari is set to be charged with assault based on a separate incident, the NYPD Deputy Commissioner's office exclusively told The Messenger.

Details remain scarce, including the nature of the alleged assault or when it occurred. The charges come after the high-profile dispute between Jabbari and Majors this spring.

At the time, Jabbari claimed Majors attacked her brutally at the Bowery Hotel. But Majors stated she was the aggressor and he acted in self-defense. Police ultimately deemed the incident a "verbal dispute" and dropped the case.

Majors has denied all allegations of violence against Jabbari. With competing accounts, the truth of what transpired between the two remains elusive.

Now Jabbari faces her own legal trouble related to an assault. However, the facts and context around her charges are still murky.

This latest development marks another twist in a complex situation between the actor and his accuser. While their previous dispute ended inconclusively, they both now contend with a judicial process. The case continues unfolding in unclear ways for both parties.
