World's Most Expensive License Plate Sells at Auction for $15 Million

A license plate with the number 7 was sold at auction for 55 million dirhams, or $15 million, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Saturday. This makes it the most expensive license plate in the world.

The plate was sold at an auction organized by Emirates Auction, and the proceeds will go towards the 1 Billion Meals Endowment campaign, a global food initiative founded by ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.

The previous record for the most expensive license plate was held by a plate with the number 1, which was sold in Abu Dhabi in 2008 for 52.2 million dirhams, or $14.2 million.

The sale of the P7 plate has set a new world record and has also raised a significant amount of money for a good cause. The 1 Billion Meals Endowment campaign aims to provide food to 1 billion people in need around the world, and the proceeds from the auction will go a long way towards achieving this goal.

The sale of the P7 plate is a testament to the generosity of the people of Dubai and their commitment to helping those in need. It is also a reminder that even a small act of kindness can make a big difference in the world.
